Our board members are made up of 5 village residents

Board Meetings are the 3rd Sunday of the month at 10 AM. During the summer months meetings are at the Pool facility or at the Pavilion shelter at 147 Ave, Powhatan Point Ohio 43942. During the winter months meetings are held at 365 Highway 7 N, Powhatan Point Ohio 43942.

We would like to extend a gracious congratulations to Lisa Blue on her retirement from the Park District. Over the past 30 years she has been a beneficial part of keeping us going.

We are a volunteer governmental agency designed to offer safe recreational enjoyment to the entire community.  We operate a public pool, as well as a public park.

We believe that if we change one child life, then it is completely worth it. We hope to positively affect many lives, but it starts at one.

We are constantly working to improve our village park and pool. Our major hurdle is funding, in which we are always trying to improve through grants.  In 2021 we accomplished  a major upgrade to our pool area. We added a large splash pad for the kids and adults in the village. By the years end of 2023 we will be repaving the basketball courts and the lighting along with adding lighting at the pool. 

With facilities available for sports, recreation, family time, family outings, or just to hang out with friends. We are the place to be.  Established in the 1960's, and we have stood the test of time. Without help from our great group of volunteers, and the village residents we wouldn't be where we are today! If we haven't said it before THANK YOU!!!!

We have 2 basketball courts, an open field for different activities, swings and slides for people of all ages. Along with a rentable pavilion with restrooms for a group or family gathering. Also a Full size pool and a Brand new splash pad!

We are operated voluntarily by village residents, with local and county funds.
